I’ve had toasters, but NEVER a toaster like this. Before I went cruising online in search of a toaster with a bun-warming rack (after I couldn’t find the Rival toaster with that feature that I had years and years ago), I had never even HEARD of Kalorik–and I’m an appliance maven.
The look alone was/is eye catching. I LOVED/LOVE that “Kalorik” is featured prominently on the product, and the uniqueness of the color, and the features, and the substantial look of both the toaster and the warming rack–and the very reasonable price–prompted me to place it in my cart here on Amazon and order it right away!
Well, it arrived within days of when I placed my order (10/16/09), but I didn’t open it until last evening and use it until this morning. All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW! First of all, it is light as a feather–which is WONDERFUL. Also, it looks SO COOL–like a radio, actually (which is exactly what a friend of mine thought that it was when he saw it propped on the counter shortly after I unboxed it; he was TOTALLY taken with it). The bun-warming rack is indeed substantial, and it conveniently hooks onto the back of the toaster which, again, is light as a feather! The manual mentioned coil storage on the bottom of the unit, but it was nonexistent–which didn’t/doesn’t matter to me. The pull-out crumb tray takes a bit of strength to pull out (and may loosen up with time), but is quite nifty. It’s an aesthetically intoxicating appliance with incredible features (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the round/dial toast slide knob; so unique and different than the “standard”).
Now, how does it toast? INCREDIBLY. Like I said, I’ve had toasters but NEVER one that toasted as evenly as this one. I like my toast light and thought that setting the “dial” to 3.5 (of 6) would give me the nice, light toast that I wanted, but I was wrong–I got dark toast (which looked SO beautiful that I ate it). I was SO impressed by how evenly it was toasted that I could not waste it. Besides, dark toast never hurt anyone. Now, it may have been the bread that I used (potato bread), but even if it wasn’t, I’ll figure out in time what setting I’ll need to use to get the desired “toastness” for me. All in all, the first run was a DREAM. I SO look forward to having and using this toaster (can’t wait to use the bun-warming rack) for years to come.
I highly recommend this product–and plan to purchase the Kalorik combi grill. I’m sold on this product–and on Kalorik. Bravo!

I love this toaster it toast evenly in a short amount of time. Real easy to use and to clean I like the pull out tray it is pulled from the back of toaster instead of in the front at the bottom therfore it doesnt leave crumbs all over when you move it. I really like the fact that on bagel mode the inside burners get hotter than the outside so the inside of bagel gets brown and crisp without burnin the outside. Havent had a chance to use warmer yet. This toaster is an excellant toaster for the money..Highly Recommended………..
